Fees
Birth doula fee is $1,400. This includes a deposit when we sign our contract, usually half of the total fee, but we can talk about what works for you . The deposit puts your EDD on my calendar, and it covers our prenatal meetings. The remaining $700 is due at your 37th week gestation. I have limited monthly spaces available for birth doula services, and many families book months in advance so if interested please contact me ASAP!

I accept payment plans. I believe a mother's finances should not determine the amount of support and care she receives during pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum. What to ExpectFREE CONSULTATION
This is the most important step in selecting a doula. During your consultation we will meet and get to know each other as well as discuss your wants and needs during your birth so that we can determine if we are a right fit. I prefer working with mothers less than 24 weeks pregnant because I believe in building a relationship with the mother and her partner. However, I will not refuse a mother if she is beyond 24 weeks pregnant PRENATAL VISITS I offer as many prenatal visits as needed to discuss and finalize your birth preferences. PHONE AND EMAIL SUPPORT I am available to my clients by phone and email should you have any questions. BIRTH PREPARATION We will practice soothing and breathing techniques to ensure you are well prepared for your upcoming labor and delivery. 24-HOUR LABOR ASSISTANCE I will be with you from the moment you feel my support is needed up until shortly after birth (roughly 2 hrs postpartum). If postpartum services is needed then you can include that by discussing a postpartum package with me. BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT I provide support for mothers who choose to breastfeed. Support includes helpful positions for breastfeeding, common relief methods for breastfeeding mothers, and answers to any question you may have about the process as well as referrals to local lactation experts for support outside my scope of knowledge. POSTPARTUM FOLLOW-UP VISIT I will check-in on you and your newborn to see how you are doing mentally, emotionally, and discuss any concerns you may have. |
